Cost planning
At Fortem Projects, we meticulously assess your budget and financial goals, starting with our Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) method of project delivery. By engaging Fortem Projects early in the process to collaborate on design, cost and constructability, we deliver transparent cost planning via preliminary cost estimates, value management and internal cost benchmarking with expert trades, using fixed price or cost-plus contracts.
Project planning
We only take on a select number of projects per year, enabling a dedicated team on each project, ready to commence your build to the highest standards. We’ll collaborate with your architect or ours, and work together on a strict construction sequence. Help you obtain the necessary permits and permissions required for a period renovation. And create a comprehensive project schedule, outlining every detail to ensure efficiency and seamless execution from start to finish.
In-house carpenters
Fortem Projects takes pride in its team of seasoned carpenters, who bring a wealth of experience on period renovations, and exceptional skill to each project. Our team members are dedicated to crafting your vision with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring the utmost quality in every facet of your build, at every stage.
Project management
Our aim is to preserve the spirit of the property, and the team. We’ll manage all aspects of the build from trades to neighbours, as well as keeping you updated with fortnightly meetings and daily updates with our industry leading construction management software. And post build, we’ll check in at 3 and 12 months to ensure we’ve successfully honoured the past, while still delivering on your aspirations.
